News: Weapons and accessories for European retailers

Meet Ferkinghoff at the IWA 2018 in Nürnberg - Hall 1-434

Bergtheim, 05.03.2018

The wholesaler Ferkinghoff, known as a provider of successful US brands, presents its comprehensive product portfolio to European arms dealers at the IWA 2018.

At the exhibition stand in Hall 1-434, the company from Bergtheim / Würzburg and its US partners present a wealth of high-revenue US products in the field of sport shooting and hunting. When it comes to US products, Ferkinghoff has established itself as a competent partner in the market and more and more brands trust in a successful distribution by this wholesaler.

This is reflected in the portfolio of the company. In addition to successfully acquiring the Kahr Firearms Group Europe-wide presence in 2014 with the brands Kahr, Desert Eagle, Magnum Research, BFR Revolver, Thompson and Auto-Ordnance, Ferkinghoff will be presenting its expansion in Europe at the IWA 2018.

KIMBER - the established and respected producer of popular 1911 pistols and high-quality rifles for hunting and sport - also relies on Ferkinghoff for its European distribution. With the joint trade fair appearance in Hall 1-434, both partners document their cooperation. KIMBER is thereby strengthening the close cooperation and expansion of its European business with Ferkinghoff.

The third US weapons producer in Ferkinghoff's Europa League is Just Right Carbines with its innovative pistol carbine. This comes in attractive configurations in the caliber 9mmPara and .45Auto (ACP) on the market. A weapon that has met with a lot of positive feedback shortly after its launch. Ferkinghoff was able to obtain a declaratory judgment by the Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA) for the sporting use.

In addition to its sports and hunting weapons program, Ferkinghoff supplies further attractive products and sales potential for specialist retailers in the Equipment and Accessories segment. Brands such as Lyman, Pachmayr, A-Zoom, Tacstar or even Trijicon, HIVIZ, Marble's Arms, Birchwood Casey, Sun Optics and ProShot Products are just some of the most important.

Ferkinghoff also has an annual growth in this area. New in the offer are BullDog - a supplier of bags and cases, holsters and accessories, Velocity Triggers - a producer of excellent AR10 / 15 direct triggers, the brand Talon with non-slip grip tapes and last but not least AIMTECH, a manufacturer of ingenious mounting systems.

"We look forward to many constructive meetings with manufacturers and customers at our booth in Hall 1-434," says Managing Director Achim Ferkinghoff. "Here, European retailers find an attractive program with many new features". A visit is worth twice, because among all visitors at the end of the show a winner will be drawn, who can call a KIMBER K6 revolver his own.

Overview of all innovations shown by Waffen Ferkinghoff at the IWA 2018

BULLDOG - Bags and Cases, Storage, Holsters, Accessories & Equipment

Bulldog® Cases & Vaults has been the industry leader in developing innovative transportation and storage solutions for all types of weapons for decades. With a variety of nylon and leather products tailored for sports, hunting, security and outdoor, every Bulldog product is made from the finest handpicked materials. Bulldog® will be in person at the Ferkinghoff stand in 2018 as a local partner.

TALON - Grips Rubber

TALON Grips Rubber are US patented grip stickers. Like a tape, they are attached to the grip and create an anti-slip, rough surface and thereby a secure grip for more than forty gun models and manufacturers such as Glock, Beretta, CZ, FN Kimber, Kahr Arms and many others. With a thickness of only 0.5mm, they are almost not noticeable and easy to install. The grips are offered in the colors black, moss green or grey.

VELOCITY Triggers - high-quality trigger systems for AR platforms
Velocity Triggers were developed by Tom Vehr, one of the brothers of the family business Timney Triggers. With more than 14 years of experience in manufacturing, design, set-up, development and testing, he gained extensive experience in trigger production in the parental company, which he further deepened in connection with large arms producers. Vehr has been contributing these skills to its own company since 2009. The perfection of his work is reflected in the range and excellent workmanship of his triggers and their sophisticated accessories.

Velocity triggers are equipped with a special carbon coating on the notches, which guarantees optimal sliding properties with maximum hardness and wear resistance. This results in a consistent peel behavior and glass-hard release, comparable to precision triggers from bolt action rifles. The trigger group is delivered pre-assembled in the trigger housing, which fits easily into the weapon. Velocity triggers turn an AR rifle into a real sniper rifle.

TRIJICON - RMR Reflex Sight Type 2

Trijicon's RMR Reflex red-dot sight, which has proven its worth over many years, has been further optimized in decisive details. The forged aluminum housing ensures extreme robustness despite its low weight. The LED version uses a CR2032 battery that has a lifetime of more than 4 years with a continuous level setting of 4 in 8 and an ambient temperature of 21 ° C.

The brightness is adjustable in 8 steps and can be changed by pressing the +/- button. To set the auto mode, press both buttons simultaneously. The light intensity then adapts automatically to the ambient light. The RMR can be switched off by simultaneously pressing both buttons for 3 seconds.

A new, easy-to-use click adjustment reliably changes the point of impact by 1" to 100 yards / 91.4m. The Trijicon RMR Type 2 is more robust than alternative equipment and perfect for military, police, hunting and sport shooting. Precision and accuracy were increased and the RMR Type 2 is today as durable as the legendary ACOG.

Just Right Carbines - the pistol carbine for sport shooters and hunters
In 2009, Just Right Carbines launched in Upstate New York with the goal of developing a simpler, more accurate, more reliable and more flexible carbine with common pistol calibers and popular magazines. This worked out with great success. Since the beginning, JRC found a large fan base. The pistol carbine is the perfect addition to the 9mmLuger pistol. It is also available in calibers .45ACP (Auto) or 10mm. All models can be converted with a few simple steps for right and left shooters.

Together with Ferkinghoff, Just Right Carbine has designed models for the European market. These will be presented at booth 434 hall 1 at the IWA. The "JRC Gen3 Sporter" variant was developed especially for sport shooting in three different variants depending on personal preferences. For the sporty variant is a declaratory judgement of the German BKA obtained. Also the variants Classic Quad and Key Mod with Rail and adjustable gun stock enjoy great popularity.

New is a conversion kit in 9mmPara as well as the pistol variant of Just Right Carbine, which Ferkinghoff will present at the IWA together with the US manufacturer. As a wholesaler, Ferkinghoff has taken over the exclusive European representation for Just Right Carbines.

The pistol is available in caliber .45Auto (ACP), 9mmPara or even 10mm Auto.

Another novelty presented by KIMBER is the KHX family.

Hexagonal grip surfaces on the slide facilitate the loading. Further features of the KHX models include a KimPro gray finish on the slide and grip, a Hogue Enhanced MagGrip G10, grips with a matching G10 striker housing. A roughened grip front for a secure handling and a premium aluminum trigger. The Pro series grip comes with rounded bottom plate.

New KIMBER Mini 1911 Pistol Micro
Under the product name Micro, KIMBER developed a mini 1911 pistol. With a weight starting at 380 grams and a barrel length of 2.75"- 3.1", these pistols can be conveniently concealed despite the powerful caliber .380Auto and 9mmPara. The barrels made of stainless steel are resistant to moisture. The grips are made of high-quality aluminum and guarantee a long service life.

The Micro 1911 comes with comfortable features such as a soft single action trigger with a short travel that allows precise hits and confidence. The thumb safety, the slide stop and the magazine release correspond to the 1911s big brother. Other standards include the deep, wide ejection window for reliable sleeve ejection and the angled magazine shaft for a quick magazine change.

The sights are made of stable steel instead of fragile plastic. Depending on the model, the Mini comes with a six-round magazine, which ends flat with the grip or with an extended magazine for 7 cartridges. Perfectly adapted for all users, even those with small hands or those who value a low recoil, the Mini as our smallest platform offers high performance for many applications.

KIMBER Revolver series K6 with addition to the family
The Kimber Revolver K6s is one of the most accurate, comfortable to shoot and most reliable revolvers available today. It is currently the smallest 6-round revolver specially developed for the strong cartridge .357Mag.

A mild recoil and a soft double action trigger ensure comfortable shooting behavior. The small frame, the 2" or 3" barrels and the only 1.39" (35.31 mm) drum are made of the best stainless steel. This ensures highest resilience and resistance to moisture and other weather conditions. The K6 offers great features like a soft double action trigger that allows precise shooting. The hammer lies inside, all edges are rounded and nothing gets stuck when pulling.

New for 2018 is a 3" version, ideal for the hunter who needs a small, high-performance coup de grâce weapon. KIMBER K6 revolvers are ideal for those looking for a high-performance, low-recoil, small-sized weapon.

Currently there is a 3" version as a STS model with laminated wood grips and 5 models in 2" as STS, duo tone with wooden and rubber grips. Best Kimber typical quality, reliability and performance.

KIMBER new bolt-action rifles for hunting and sporting

KIMBER Advanced Tactical Rifles SOC II and SRC II
Independent tests have shown that Kimber is not only strong in the construction of 1911 models. Also their long guns deliver a high quality and comprehensive variety for the sportive and the hunting shooting. With the KIMBER program hunters and sport shooters can choose between traditional rifles with high quality wooden as well as models with reinforced carbon fiber, synthetic or plywood stocks.

For 2018, KIMBER will be presenting two new precision rifles in calibres .308Win: Advanced Tactical SOC II, Advanced Tactical SRC II. and 6.5 Creedmoor with a shooting accuracy of 0.5 MOA. Both models are equipped with aluminum stocks and are based on the legendary Kimber System 8400 with a long Mauser type extractor for controlled cartridge feed and reliable sleeve extraction, a quiet and easy to operate, horizontal 3-position wing safety catch and a carefully tuned Match Grade trigger, which breaks crystal clear at 2.5 pounds (1,134 g).

The SOC II is equipped with a 22" and the SRC II with a 16" barrel. The new bolt action rifles feature a muzzle thread 5/8-24 for receiving a muzzle brake or suppressor. Both system / barrel assemblies are embedded in a McRees Precision G10 Standard Lightweight Alloy Frame and have a side-hinged stock with an embedded MEL-V tilt indicator. Cheek piece and the butt plate are adjustable in height, as the stock is in length. SOC II and SRC II come with a 1913 MIL-STD mounting rail, bipod mounting and M-LOK side mounts. Both rifles include a stock pocket and the weapon case "Drag Bag" for storage and transport.

All KIMBER bolt action rifles combine the positive features of the Mauser 98 and the Winchester pre 64 system. The non-rotating extractor ensures a controlled supply and reliable extraction of the cartridge case.

The horizontal three-position safety catch works directly on the firing pin and provides security when carrying the loaded weapon. The direct trigger breaks like glass-breaker and is as crucial to precision as the match-grade quality barrel, which undergoes rigorous quality control during production.

The straight buttstock directs the recoil straight into the shoulder and prevents unpleasant movements of the barrel. Pillar and / or glass bedding guarantee a consistently excellent shot precision. Shooters and hunters have a choice of more than 20 models and a caliber range of .223Rem. up to .458Lott.

The KAHR Firearms Group is second to none with their developments.
