Bergtheim, 20.08.2019 – The optimal trigger is a winning factor of accuracy and consistency. US-based manufacturer Timney brings more than 70 years of experience in precision trigger craftsmanship into the game with the new release of their AR-9 drop-in trigger kit, specifically made for pistol caliber carbines.
Timney triggers are widely known for excellent build quality and the use of high-grade materials. The new PCC trigger fully aligns with this philosophy. Hammer, trigger, and sear are made from hardened steel, while the trigger housing is machined from a single piece of T-6 aircraft grade aluminum. Depending on the individual liking, the trigger is offered in a straight or a curved layout, along with a single- or two-stage configuration. Trigger weights are set from the factory at a consistent 3lbs (1.362 gram) for the single-stage, and a smooth 2lbs (900 gram) for each stage of the two-stage trigger.
However, there is one big disadvantage for the individual marksman. The new Timney PCC Trigger Kit is simply too much fun! It takes deliberate effort to stop shooting, as the trigger break is so clean and followed by such a positive reset.
