Bergtheim, 22.03.2023 – New products, new partnerships and a 33-year company anniversary.
With these topics and a cornucopia full of US products, the importer Ferkinghoff International GmbH & Co. KG, Bergtheim, presented its growing portfolio to the national and international trade at the IWA in Nuremberg from March 2 to 5. Also present at the booth were U.S. partners O.F. Mossberg, KAHR Firearms Group, Timney Triggers, BullDog Cases, XS Sights and, for the first time, optics supplier Primary Arms. A new collaboration continues to grow Ferkinghoff's portfolio. At the trade show, Ferkinghoff started with the exclusive German distribution of Springfield Armory.
Whether for hunting, sport or security - the program of Ferkinghoff offers well-known brands and strong-selling products from modern and historical long and short guns, optics, accessories such as grips, holsters, magazines to complete cleaning systems or shooting targets. A number of novelties but also proven products awaited the visitors at the booth.
For several years now, the KAHR Firearms Group has been presenting its product portfolio at the IWA together with its general importer for Europe. This includes all Kahr Premium utility pistols, Magnum Research weapons such as the Desert Eagle, the BFR revolvers, the Magnum-Light self-loading rifles and the Auto Ordnance range including accessories and spare parts.
A new eye-catcher is the Desert Eagle model variant Black Cherry and the Thompson M1 Carbine SBR which was presented and delivered for the first time in the short version.
With O.F. Mossberg, shooters and hunters have the knowledge of a comprehensive range of shotguns for sport and hunting. However, bolt action rifles and the short barrel series of MC2 utility pistols were also presented. A number of new models were presented on display; many shotguns and rifles come with an Optic Ready program in the new year.
Surprise guest Jerry Miculek was present at the booth for questions, tips & hints. Autographs, selfies and individual questions included.
With Ferkinghoff taking over European distribution last year from Timney Trigger, interest in the aftermarket trigger supplier's portfolio is also growing. Also at the booth was the Glock series for Gen 5 and 3|4, the AR series and the latest MP5 trigger of the house.
The US Company BullDog Cases stands for tactical, modern and robust weapon bags, cases, rifle straps or even hoarders & magazine holders. The BDT bag models have a new brother, they come in the colors black, tan, green and gray. Also there were the still less known handbags for the ladies.
The optical sector was also strongly represented at the booth. For example, with Trijicon, the brand for law enforcement and for precision shooters who demand the highest quality. The FOI product series from Ferkinghoff supplies rails in a rich selection.
New to the booth were two U.S. manufacturers, XS Sights and Primary Arms. The latter company caused quite a stir earlier this year with its "Odysee 2023" program, combining a comprehensive range of riflescopes and RedDots. The portfolio of patented ACSS reticles leaves nothing to be desired. All optics were represented at the booth and could be taken there in inspection and stop.
Tactaload - US veterans and federal officials created this company. The players developed the FLASH-5 stock and launched it in the market. This stock was designed for Mossberg and Remington 12-gauge shotguns. This unique, patented design includes an internal magazine that gives the shooter instant access to ammunition.
Choate - U.S. manufacturer Choate supplies a comprehensive portfolio of stocks. A high-quality, fiberglass-reinforced and extremely heat-resistant plastic is used. The surface is manufactured with a good grip and feels good in the hand. Accuracy of fit, combined with precision manufacturing with steel or aluminum from aircraft construction distinguishes Choate's products.
The 33rd anniversary of the family-owned company Ferkinghoff International was also celebrated. A special program has been developed for the specialized trade.
