Bergtheim, 09_03_2019 – Competitive shooters rejoice! The famous American optics manufacturer Trijicon is bringing the newly designed SRO™ to Europe. The optic with its significantly larger sight window and crisp red dot allows extraordinary fast target acquisition. The SRO™ will increase first hit probability and consistency for shooters in static and dynamic disciplines alike.
Each SRO™ is equipped with automatic and manual brightness control. The shooter can dial-in the favorite brightness setting with the new “Lock-Out” function, and keep the sight illuminated for an indefinite amount of time by using the new “Lock-in” function. This feature is not only ideal for fast-paced competitive events in bright daylight, but also for long hunts in changing lighting conditions. Additionally, the brightness can be manually adjusted in eight different levels.
Despite the large sight window, the SRO™ is nearly free of discoloration or other optical distortions. For this reason, the SRO™ is also a great choice for static shooting disciplines, as the crisp dot in combination with the large field of view enables a relaxed and focused aim. The SRO™ is offered in three different sight configurations that cover all the needs of shooting disciplines. The 1 MOA dot is perfect for for maximum precision, long-range, and bullseye shooting. The 2.5 MOA dot is a great multi-purpose choice and excellent for target shooting. For lightning fast target acquisition at close range in dynamic shooting disciplines, the 5 MOA dot is the most suitable option.
The battery of the new SRO™ can be changed from the top without the need of having the entire optic removed from the gun. This makes battery changes a breeze and the re-sighting process obsolete. Thank you Trijicon! The battery is a standard CR 2032, but with a battery life of more than three years on a constant brightness setting of 4 out of 8, changes will not be necessary too often.
As can be expected from Trijicon, the overall quality of the SRO™ is top notch. The rubberized housing made from forged aluminum and the hardened glass lens guarantees longevity even under harshest conditions.
