Bergtheim, 10.05.2023 - Under the PLx Platinum line the US supplier Primary Arms Optics launches the new PLx Compact 1-8x LPVO. Low Power Variable Optics (LPVO) technology allows optics such as a Red Dot to be used at short ranges and, thanks to eight times magnification, at distances beyond 200 yards.
This new riflescope offers excellent image quality and is suitable both for dynamic disciplines and for the hunter looking for an optic perfectly matched to his self-loading rifle.
The body is black anodized and has a matte finish, avoiding unwanted light reflection. The reticle adjustment is smooth and the knurled wheels feel good in the hand. Included is a Throw Lever that screws directly into the optics' adjustment ring. This allows the magnification to be quickly and easily adjusted to the desired position.
The high quality Japanese ED lenses provide excellent light transmission, color correctness and image clarity. The PLx features an etched and illuminated reticle in the first image plane with a magnification of 1-8x24mm and is offered in three reticle options. It has an eye relief of approximately 10cm and is 26.6cm long overall. The diameter is 34mm. The riflescope is "Made in USA".
With its comprehensive features, as well as its compact size and light weight, this glass clearly makes the leap into the upper league.
